Sustainable Growers advances smallholder women coffee farmers across Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Tanzania. Through innovative training, supply chain visibility, and direct market access, we turn expertise into lasting economic opportunity.
With the long-standing support of our founding partner, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Sustainable Growers has trained more than 77,000 women coffee farmers since 2014. Through field-based agricultural training, cooperative strengthening, and direct market linkages, farmers have increased the value of their crops by up to 40% within the first months of implementation, creating a positive impact for over 341,000 family members across the region.
