About The Conference
Our Story
Coffee-producing communities are the foundation of the global coffee economy, shaping its quality, diversity, and resilience. Yet as the industry faces climate volatility, shifting consumer demand, and rising sustainability expectations, the people who grow coffee remain the furthest removed from the decisions and the value that flow from it. Narrowing that distance is essential to a fairer and more durable sector.
Women carry a substantial share of the labour in coffee-growing communities and a far smaller share of its returns and its decisions. The Global Coffee Conference 2026 responds by creating a working space where women coffee producers, buyers, policymakers, researchers, and industry partners meet as peers to trade, exchange knowledge, and build practical solutions together.

On behalf of Sustainable Growers, we are honoured to invite you to the Kigali Serena Hotel for three days that will reshape how the global coffee industry thinks, trades, and leads.
The Global Coffee Conference 2026 will convene more than 250 coffee professionals from Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and beyond, under the theme “Build Together. Lead Globally.” Women-led cooperatives, producers, buyers, policymakers, researchers, roasters, development partners, investors, and private sector leaders will come together to open markets, advance collaboration across origin systems, and build a more resilient, inclusive, and connected coffee economy.
More than a conference, this is a platform for collaboration at origin. Delegates will meet the farmers behind the cup, taste the coffees where they are grown, and build relationships that endure well beyond the three days.
