Sustainable Growers Newsletter - April 2026

From East Africa to the World

Building Together.
Leading Globally.

Sustainable Growers is taking the stage in Colombia this May - and we want you to be part of it.

Dear coffee community,

Since 2013, Sustainable Growers has worked side by side with women coffee farmers and cooperatives across Rwanda, DRC, and Tanzania - training, connecting, and opening doors to markets around the world.

This May, we take that work to a new level. We are proud to convene the Global Coffee Conference - Colombia 2026, an intercontinental gathering bringing together women-led cooperatives from East Africa and Latin America with global buyers, policymakers, donors, and industry leaders. This is not just a moment for us. It is a moment for the entire coffee community.

Global Coffee Conference

Colombia 2026

Dates

9 – 11 May 2026

Location

Colombia

Theme

"Build Together. Lead Globally."

Arrival Day

8 May 2026

This is not a traditional conference. It is a structured partnership platform - where trade commitments are made, origin-to-origin relationships are formalized, and women-led cooperatives are positioned as fully integrated commercial partners within resilient, climate-smart global coffee systems.

We are bringing East Africa and Latin America into the same room - to move from conversation to collaboration, and from collaboration to long-term commitment.
